MANUEL TORRES DESIGN has designed in the main commercial arterial of Mexico City the new Insignia Store for GRUPO TENERIFE, a Mexican company, specialized in all types of finishes and coatings of luxury products in architectural finishes. The aim of the retail project is an emotional space that generates a clearly differentiating brand and consumption experience on a surface area of more than 1,200 m² for exhibition and sale to the public.
This new commercial space is located in an emblematic location, on the commercial front line of the luxurious Avenida Masaryk # 320, colloquially known as the “Fifth Avenue” of Mexico City; being the main commercial axis of luxury of the capital in which the most prestigious boutiques of international companies are present all over the world.
The new Insignia Store has the latest trends in retail design and commercial branding, thus becoming a cutting-edge, revolutionary and up-to-date store of the latest consumer demands. The new concept store reflects the essence and constitutive values of the brand, providing something more: a shopping experience full of emotions. The objective of the project is not to sell, but to project a deep brand feeling, to show the essence and soul of it, awakening the most emotional elements of branding and achieving the goal sought in the design with the following sequence: stimulus, emotion, decision and memory.
The innovative design of the store has been designed with the same finishing and coating products that are exhibited and sold in the ‘Flagship Store’. A masterful use of materials with presence, make an Insignia Store in a place where the authenticity and character that every architectural project and interior design requires is breathed. In this way we move away from the merely expository character to accompany the client in a unique shopping experience thanks to a totally personalized advice; being transferred to an environment with natural recreation, where the game of textures, colors and lights provided by the materials themselves, wraps it in such a way that it recreates a dreamlike and dreamlike universe.
Throughout the project, you can breathe a real natural look that leads us to outdoor landscapes, materializing in the interior design through the integration of pavements and coatings of natural stones that not only distinguish the spaces, but also provide a plus of elegance and authenticity. Reflecting in this way the culture and image of the brand.
This typology of commercial space opens the possibility of new experiences that give way to consumers seeing the establishment as a place where they can feel free to observe, touch the products, interact with other people, among others, without feeling pressured by the obligation of acquire an item; transmitting values in all their details, very well defined and conceived through a series of additional services and of real added value. The international design studio MANUEL TORRES DESIGN conceives an innovative format in which continent and content offer an exclusive and multisensory experience.
The space is divided into four snows distributed in a museographic concept composed of: twenty-three exhibition areas perfectly differentiated and acclimated according to the exposed material; seven shop windows and a materioteca that offers different options of consultation and interaction with a myriad of materials and that has natural lighting that offers an ideal work environment for architects, designers and individuals; three corridors and transition areas, which are both exhibitors through different materials and their multiple possibilities, thus making the tours as pleasant as possible, a show cooking in the roof garden with recreation terraces and with an optimal retail entertainment that complements the shopping experience and where customers can enjoy a moment of relaxation and special events.
MANUEL TORRES DESIGN seeks to perfectly fit the design of the store, trying to also express a unique connection of the brand with innovation, creating a space designed for the creation and management of an emotional and exclusive experience; with the objective of identifying and qualifying a consumer that demands a more proactive, entertaining, authentic and memorable purchase at the point of sale. The final result of the project, what all the marks that mark it aspire, what is deeply engraved in our minds and in our hearts as consumers and that makes us react in successive moments when we are facing a brand that stimulated us, excited us and provoked a decision: it is the creation of a memory.
